Testimonials

“Hub New Music’s workshop offered a thoughtful, well-crafted, and accessible introduction to the process of self-management. Rooted in personal experience and enhanced by sound strategies, their presentation blended anecdotes with highly practical tools (from sample press releases to a how-to guide to for contacting venues) for aspiring professional musicians at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our students left the session energized and ready to take key next steps in managing their own projects!”

Jonathan Kuuskoski - Chair, Department of Entrepreneurship and Leadership & Director, EXCEL Lab, University of Michigan

“Hub was both prepared with their pedagogical approach tailored to different age groups as well as flexible in working with the different group energies that a dynamic classroom presents.  The performances both in school and concert were absolutely wonderful. I can’t say enough about the creativity and joy that this quartet brings to their craft and I think they would be a very strong addition to any program supporting secondary music education and bringing their expertise with new music to young students.”

Susan Ellinger - Artistic Director, Blue Sage Arts Center (Paonia, CO)

“Hub New Music’s workshop on Demystifying Self-Management was stellar! They presented the multitude of self-management aspects in a very clear, articulate, and approachable manner to all of the attendees. Their knowledge of the material is very comprehensive, and was delivered very adeptly. I highly recommend this workshop to others!”
